Status Quo Analysis of German Airports Regarding Fuel Infrastructure and Hydrogen Development Opportunities

In order to understand how the future supply of liquid hydrogen (LH2) for airports could work, it is essential to understand the organisation and structure of the current fuel infrastructure. For this reason, we initiated and accompanied a study on this topic in the HyNEAT project, which was carried out by the Pro Aviation Consult GmbH. The title of the study is: Status Quo Analysis of German Airports Regarding Fuel Infrastructure and Hydrogen Development Opportunities.

In addition to an overview of the fuel infrastructure, the aim of the study was also to take a detailed look at individual airports and their current and future development opportunities in the field of hydrogen.
